What Does it Mean When John says Joanna is the Kind of Girl Who Could Get Under His Skin?

This is actually really heavy stuff.  John is a player, remember? He likes to stay safe.  He doesn't want to fall in love with anybody.  He likes to have fun until it gets serious. As soon as somebody gets too close, he leaves.

But if somebody "Gets Under Your Skin", just what does this imply?

So, as we can see, it can be pretty scary stuff if somebody gets "under your skin".  What is John going to about it if Joanna does "get under his skin"?  This is not a man who wants this to happen!

What happens Next???????

Well, we don't want to give away any spoilers, but we DO have a very good Book 5 in the works for our series. Book 5 is planned to be the final installment of the Sex with a Sailor series and will end the story of our protagonists, John and Joanna.  Forever? No way of telling.... yet! But it will end this chapter of their relationship.

What we WILL tell you is that Book 5 not only has some more sexual adventures between the two, but the emotional tensions will finally come to a head.

Doesn't that have to happen eventually? In all relationships?  You know it!!

10 Sexy Things to Do with Ice

Try these frosty tricks for a ridiculously hot night.

1. Begin with a slightly melted ice cube in your mouth. Kiss your guy and pass it back and forth. As it gets smaller and smaller, hide it in different places so he has to try to find it with his tongue.

2. Use the ice cube to trace a chilly path along his naked body and then follow it with your tongue. The temp change will heighten his pleasure, while the anticipation of watching where your lips go will send him over the edge.

3. Put the ice in your man's hand and guide it so that he draws circles around the outside of your breasts, slowly working his way toward your nipples.

Sailors have always told their own stories of their sailing adventures, and many hundreds have been published over the last century. The best of these not only are a good read as a story but also can teach a lot about how to enjoy sailing at its finest and to avoid mishaps at sea.

• Bernard Moitessier's memoir The Long Way is one of the best-ever narratives of a philosophic master sailor singlehanding around the world.
• Voyages of a Simple Sailor by Roger D. Taylor is a collection well-written sailing narratives in which the sailor-philosopher also teaches self-sufficiency and independence.
• Tania Aebi's Maiden Voyage chronicles her 30-month solo circumnavigation begun at age 18, a story of adventure and maturation at sea.
• Beth Leonard's Blue Horizons collects together wonderfully well written columns she wrote during a 6-year navigation - a bright portrait of a couple's life cruising under sail.
• Chris Stewart's Three Ways to Capsize a Boat is a memoir about learning to sail and adventuring in the Greek Isles and across the Atlantic - a charming and very funny book.
• Patricia Vellinga's Sailing There tells a great story about crossing Europe by canal and then sailing all over the Med - an enjoyable sailing travelogue.
• Torre DeRoche's Swept: Love with a Chance of Drowning is a true tale about an inexperienced sailor cruising off into adventure with her boyfriend in a small sailboat across the South Pacific - a great read!

Novels Involving Sailing

• Bernard Cornwell's Wildtrack is among the very best sailing novels in part because it so skillfully blends its sailing dimension with traditional aspects of the thriller novel complete with love interests, subplots, and international intrigue as well as a cast of interesting characters and villains.
• Cornwall's Stormchild is another thriller novel involving a lot of sailing.
• Christine Kling's thriller Circle of Bones is a well-written, engaging, suspenseful novel set on boats and Caribbean islands.
• Mitch Davies' novel Better Than Ever, Again is an action adventure tale involving sailing in the South Pacific, but read this review before getting too excited.

Cruising Guides

It's important to know where you're going when cruising!

• The Atlantic Cruising Club Guides to Marinas are among the better traditional print products that provide information about marinas you may visit while cruising.
• The ActiveCaptain Interactive Cruising Guidebook is a great online resource with information about marinas, anchorages, and much more - which is also built into many navigational software products and apps.
• Nicola Rodriguez's Sail Away: How to Escape the Rat Race and Live the Dream is a useful starting point for those new to cruising.
• Take along the great birding book Petrels, Albatrosses & Storm-Petrels of North America next time you're voyaging offshore to identify and learn more about the sea birds you see.

While everyone knows the newsstand glossies SAIL and Cruising World, two other sailing magazines are actually more useful to most sailors:

Fifty Shades of Grey? Fifteen Reasons to Read "Sex with a Sailor" next...

1. In Sex with a Sailor, the female protagonist, Joanna, is not a clumsy college co-ed like Ana.  She does not have to trip or stumble to get powerful men to notice her. How refreshing... a young lady who can walk and talk without stumbling!

2. John doesn't have to draw up a contract to get what he wants.  He doesn't make even close to the money that Christian commands but he knows how to get what he wants from women without money or "sign here" forms.

3. Fifty Shades of Grey takes place mainly on the West coast where it constantly rains and is overcast. How dull and depressing is that?  Sex with a Sailor takes us to the sunny tropical setting of Florida and the Florida Keys. Florida is the Sunshine State. the exact opposite of Washington State!

4. Christian buys Ana an Apple laptop computer. Apple? Really?  We like IBM!
